Everything That Happened at #NYFW with Four Seasons NY!

Relive ALL the outfits...

#NYFW2020! Get your Pinterest board ready because I have never seen so many insta-worthy outfits, everywhere I turn. I am going to share all the most talked about moments from this season with you.

Honestly, we only attended #NYFW for 4 days. Simply because the weather during this time of the year is quite brutal and my health simply can’t handle it.

We are incredibly lucky to continue our relationship with FOUR SEASONS. This time we were extended a partnership with Four Seasons Hotel New York in midtown. This hotel is simply stunning for lack of better words. It's located on “Billionaires’ Row” at the city’s most prestigious address between Park Avenue and Madison Avenue. We were steps away from Central Park, thus we were able to get so much of our street style done around the hotel.

Let’s break down 3 of the standout shows at #NYFW2020:

DAY 1 - LONGCHAMP

"Longchamp delivered one of their best collections this season. Sophie Delafontaine is simply a creator of magic."

Longchamp delivered one of their best collections this season. The creative director of the brand, Sophie Delafontaine is simply a creator of magic. The brand always seems to pick the most spectacular collection for their shows. This season was hosted at the Hudson yards. The collection was feminine with a hint of 90’s fashion. A dance between hard and soft, femininity and character. Kaia Gerber walked the runway amongst other beautiful models. The front row was filled with the likes of brand ambassador Kendall Jenner and model Coco Rocha as well as actresses Ashley Benson and Storm Reid.

DAY 2 - ROMEO HUNTE X TOMMY HILFIGER

"You could tell he has worked on this collection for the entirety of his life."

This show brought me to tears. This collaboration between Romeo Hunte and his mentor was out of this world. Hunte graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology. So, it was only right that he hosted his show there. Hunte did an impeccable job of channeling Hilfiger by integrating some of his archival looks and fabrics used by Mr. Hilfiger over the years into his own brand. This is up-cycling done right. Offering a fresh take on streetwear by making it creative yet functional. The show was filled with celebrities from Saweetie to Ayesha Curry and more. Hunte’s celebratory walk was so beautiful, I couldn’t help but shed a tear. Simply because you could tell he has worked on this collection for the entirety of his life. He is now my new favorite designer and I’ll be rooting for him for a long time.

DAY 3 - LELA ROSE PRESENTATION

"From fabulously draped crepe cape back gowns to fanciful tucked "turban" sleeves, effortlessly chic caftans, and dazzling hand-threaded florals. It was ethereal."

On a rainy Monday, we rushed to check out Lela Rose’s 26- piece collection which was showcased at an instagramable flower pop-up store in greenwich, New York. The collection was timeless and graceful and very ME. From fabulously draped crepe cape back gowns to fanciful tucked "turban" sleeves, effortlessly chic caftans, and dazzling hand-threaded florals. It was ethereal. I was in awe when she told me she baked the 500 cookies for refreshments herself. With her infectious energy and her lovely smile, she kept the whole gorgeous room alive.

FOUR SEASONS NEW YORK

"The Four Seasons Hotel New York provides well-needed serenity above all the insanity of the city."

Back at our beautiful hotel to enjoy the rest of our stay. We had a well-needed serenity above all the insanity of the city. Our view was lovely because our room was facing central park. The hotel was located a step away from all the fabulous stores on Madison Ave for all the shopping our heart desired.  The customer service was something to write home about, with complimentary use of a Rolls-Royce courtesy car (drop off within a 12 block radius). YES! Rolls-royce (pinch me because that is my dream car).  Located right by the lobby, the Garden serves breakfast and lunch in a bright space inspired by a forest, complete with tables set beneath the twisting branches of acacia trees. The Ty Bar has a menu of classic cocktails and a cozy fireplace for a lovely date night or simply to watch the oscars like we did on Sunday night.

This season truly did not disappoint when it came to memorable dramatic moments. So many different people and different elements made this particular #NYFW exceptional. I love that the fashion industry is finally embracing diversity and fun shows. Have a great weekend everyone!  As always, thank you so much for reading!
