Happy New Year, SB! Today I'm rounding up my top-selling items for January. These are all items I tried during the holidays and I think would be perfect for you to get ready for the New year! Let’s jump right in:
Although, my skin is normally VERY oily. It tends to get dry in my T-zone during the winter season. This No7 moisturizer is fantastic for normal to dry skin. It is deeply moisturizing and gives a faint glow to the skin. It has been proven to reduce wrinkles and the best part? It has SPF 30!
I was at Nordstrom when one of their employees recommended this eye cream to me. My eye area is my problem area when it comes to aging, so I am willing to try EVERY and ANYTHING. I call this eye cream, 3in1; It is an anti-wrinkle, anti-dark circle, and anti-puffiness. I applied it morning and evening for 30 days to see if I’ll see any major difference and I wasn’t disappointed. If nothing else, the Hyaluronic acid in it keeps the eye area VERY hydrated.
Although, I’ve heard all the rave about this particular product but never picked it up until I was at the target in my hometown in Florida. I’m always skeptical of seemingly over-hyped products but this product truly lives up to its hype. This is the perfect toner for anyone with acne-prone skin. It is one of the few toners I’ve tried that prevents my pores from clogging up. Right after cleansing, I swipe it all over my face and neck with a cotton ball and voila, in the morning, my skin is radiant and glowing. I’ll certainly be repurchasing this product.
Cleansing oils are a MUST in my skincare routine. Although I’ve tried this particular cleansing oil before, I forgot how good it was until I picked it up again in December. This cleansing oil works well for ALL skin types, especially SENSITIVE SKIN. It’s one of the few cleansing oils that removes all the makeup (including mascara) at once yet doesn’t strip your skin. PS: There are many dupes of this online, so please be careful and buy ONLY the original. Overall, I am so glad I rediscovered this product.
I purchased this concealer on a whim from skinstore.com. The packaging was beautiful, so I thought, why not? What can I say but HOLY MOLY! New Holy Grail. I love that it is Matte, which means, it travels well. Not only is it VERY hydrating, but it also CONCEALS! It doesn’t crease and gives full coverage. I use the matte side on my cheekbones and I use the illuminating concealer under my eyes, down the bridge of my nose, on my forehead, and my Cupid's bow. Sometimes, I simply skip foundation all together when I use this concealer. I am rooting for this brand because they just get it right with their products.
I picked up this foundation simply because of its packaging. Thank God, the product is just as good. It’s full coverage but surprisingly light-feeling, perfect for the no-makeup makeup look. It is quite dewy, so perfect for the winter season. The only downside is that it doesn’t travel well. However, it is beautiful on your vanity table.
I don’t know what happened to me this year, however, I developed alopecia. Apparently, due to stress and lack of sleep. So, I got online and started frantically looking for a cure. I read reviews about this particular product on Amazon and just decided to take a chance on it and I am so glad I did. After 45 days of concentrating it on my hairline, I’ve seen some differences. Although my hair isn’t long, it is much fuller. Smells lovely (citrus smell) and doesn’t make my hair feel greasy.
Picked this up from Anthropologies last year but never got to use it till I was on my Christmas vacation. To be honest, not sure if this product still exists. However, I took 2 capsules every day for a month and noticed a glow on my skin and my hair was shinier. These capsules are created with biotin and collagen. This means not only is it great for growing healthy nails, but it also works well to fight fine lines and wrinkles. If you get your hands on this product, try it for 6-8 weeks and let me know what you think.
Because exfoliating shouldn’t stop at your face! Now and again, you have to take time to exfoliate your whole body as well. Unlike the messy body exfoliant, we are used to, this is incredibly easy to use. Simply rub it off all over your body, wait a few minutes and you’ll notice the dead skin falling right off. PERFECT FOR ANYONE WHO SUFFERS FROM ECZEMA! Please stay diligent with using sunscreen and lots of moisturizers at least for the first few days after using this product.
Facial massages are all the waves in the beauty world these days. I normally simply massage my face every morning with my hands. However, I discovered the ReFa massage roller during the holiday season and it’s a game-changer. This waterproof tool is not only great for toning and tightening the face but for the whole body as well. I love that it is suitable for sensitive skin as well because the micro-current is mild and adjustable. If you are looking for a more youthful, radiant and beautiful skin, make this an investment.
There you have it, all of my January favorites to start off a new year and a new decade! What is the one product you are obsessing over this new month that is VERY much worth the money? Drop a comment on Instagram and let me know! Happy shopping, and thank you so much for reading!
